Printing & Page Set-up

I am having problem printing report (excel as well as Word). I change the Page Layout from portrait to landscape, but it does not work, I highlighted and tried to print Selection, but it prints blank sheets of whole report. (selected item should be on one sheet, the whole report is on three sheets).
Does anyone know what could be wrong and how to fix it.

In Excel, there's more to defining the print range than just the page layout. Furthermore, unless you have all three sheets selected, only the active sheet will print. As for Word, it will only print what's there - if you're getting blank pages, it's because they're in the document. In neither Word nor Excel will changing the page layout affect this.
