Hello -
I am trying to find a solution similar to mail merge, but more streamlined and available immediately upon entering the data. I will have several staff members performing initial health screens. I would like to use a form for staff to enter required information. This information needs to be stored in a database for later use. In addition, I would like the ability for a custom letter to be printed right there on the spot for the individual to take away with them. Because it is all at the "point of service," the typical mail merge process seemed a bit cumbersome for staff.
This custom letter would have some conditional text based on the data entry. For instance, it may calculate a BMI based on the height and weight entries made. It also may provide information on lowering blood pressure if those metrics were high, but not for when they are normal (for example).
Suggestions on the best methods? Many of the staff do not have Access, so I was hoping there may be a method with Excel and/or Word. However, I'm not opposed to hearing options in Access if it really is much easier.
Thank you!
