I currently have an employee database which is based on Excel. Sometimes, we need to print off employee information for only a handful of employees. When this occurs, normally the admin just copies and pastes each employee record into a new sheet which takes a while as it means trawling through all the employee records. Is there any other way we can select certain rows to print other than that and the "Print Selection Area" method?

Shade all formula cells
To shade all formula cells: Home, Find & Select, Formulas to select all formulas. Then apply a light fill color.
If there is something in common with the employees you could filter the database for example all employees hired before some date. If it is just random employees then I do not see a way to select them except to manually hide rows or copy the data as you are currently doing.
