An explanation, I work for a government agency so the body of the email mail merge or the header can not be changed AT ALL. What I need is to print in the header information located on line n , position m, length of p. The emails have to be printed and scanned so I have to write the account number that is in the body on each email so admin can scan the email to that account. While the simplest would be to change the mail merge to include the account in the header, written procedures do not allow this and this a terminateable offense. What can be done is during the archival printing, print the account number located in the body in the header. This is because the archive is 100% internal document. Can the account number in the body be printed in the header after the email mail merge has been sent?

Which Excel functions can ignore hidden rows?
The SUBTOTAL and AGGREGATE functions ignore hidden rows. AGGREGATE can also exclude error cells and more.
AFAIK, Outlook, etc. don't allow you to edit any part of an email after it has been sent. However, you might be able to achieve what you want by running a second merge that sends the output to one or more documents, with exactly the same content and, for example, with each record saved as a separate document whose name consists of the required data fields - such a document could be saved in any format supported by Word, including PDF. That could obviate the need for printing & scanning, too, since there's not much point in doing that for an electronic document you already have in a fully searchable format.
