Price Charts in Excel

I've been trying to figure out a way to do this so any advice or comments would be great. I'm looking to create price charts that I could apply an indicator to (say like a moving average). This would be similar to stock charts that you may have seen but I want to create price charts for other things that change price over time.

Add Bullets to Range
Select range. Press Ctrl+1. On Number tab, choose Custom. Type Alt+7 then space then @ sign (using 7 on numeric keypad)

Can you give some example data and expected results? Mr. Excel has a tool called xl2bb add in (link below) that allows you to copy mini worksheets. If you cannot use that then please post a table of data and expectations.
