Hello,

I have a problem with the macro below. It is supposed to export a csv file. It was previously working perfectly but it is now crashing Excel 100% of the time and I have no idea why. No error message appears.

Can anyone see a problem with the VBA that could be causing this?

VBA Code:
Sub ExportAsCSV()

Dim MyFileName As String
Dim CurrentWB As Workbook, TempWB As Workbook

Set CurrentWB = ActiveWorkbook
ActiveWorkbook.ActiveSheet.UsedRange.Copy

Set TempWB = Application.Workbooks.Add(1)
With TempWB.Sheets(1).Range("A1")
.PasteSpecial xlPasteValues
.PasteSpecial xlPasteFormats
End With

'MyFileName = CurrentWB.Path & "\" & Left(CurrentWB.Name, InStrRev(CurrentWB.Name, ".") - 1) & ".csv"
'Optionally, comment previous line and uncomment next one to save as the current sheet name
MyFileName = CurrentWB.Path & "\" & CurrentWB.ActiveSheet.Name & ".csv"

Application.DisplayAlerts = False
TempWB.SaveAs Filename:=MyFileName, FileFormat:=xlCSV, CreateBackup:=False, Local:=True
TempWB.Close SaveChanges:=False
Application.DisplayAlerts = True
End Sub

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
Looks ok to me. Which line of code triggers the crash? In your shoes, I'd be worried about a corrupt workbook, particularly if you can xfer that code to another workbook and see it works normally - and depending on how valuable that WB was, I would be saving/exporting/savaging everything I could before any further messing around.
