Hope this makes sense.

I have a co-authored spreadsheet that we're having save issues with. When one user is working all is fine, but when we get multiple users there are "Unable to Save" errors.

The spreadsheet has custom views set up for each user (that hide columns), as well as custom sorts run by macro buttons.

2 questions: could the sorting an custom views be causing the sync and save issues? If so, is there a way to prevent the sort and custom view information from being saved with the file?

How to show all formulas in Excel?
Press Ctrl+` to show all formulas. Press it again to toggle back to numbers. The grave accent is often under the tilde on US keyboards.
Does anyone know if the current custom view and sort is saved with the workbook, or does each user see something different?

OK, I've learned that custom views of co-authored workbooks ARE saved. That sort of defeats the purpose of a custom view, doesn't it?
