Hello. I'm trying to prevent the users from saving the file as a new one if they have left some cells blank. What syntax do I use? Thanks!

Some pointers on a high level.
Goto VBAProject, double click on the sheet, choose 'Before save' in the drop down menu.
Add a code which checks if the cells is blank and call ActiveWorkbook.SaveAs ...

You can put some code to make the necessary check and cancel the save.
Put this in ThisWorkbook code module:
Code:
Private Sub Workbook_BeforeSave(ByVal SaveAsUI As Boolean, Cancel As Boolean)
    If SaveAsUI Then
        If IsEmpty(Range("A1")) Then
            Cancel = True
            MsgBox "Some cells are left balnk. SaveAs cancelled."
        End If
    End If
End Sub
Just keep in mind - there are many ways to save a file with a new name.
