Hi all,

I'm trying to find a solution to this problem but I've been unsuccessful till now. I have data from an SQL Server query rselut that I need to import into an Excel 2013 worksheet.
The SQL query result consist of only 3 columns but one particular column is causing me a lot of trouble when I'm pasting the data. The content of that column is automatically spreading into several cells in Excel 2013 and hence, making the pasted data look like a real mess!

Any hint on how to prevent Excel to automatically spread the content into several cells? Thanks for your help!

Excel Facts

What is the last column in Excel?
Excel columns run from A to Z, AA to AZ, AAA to XFD. The last column is XFD.
Check whether any delimiter is in memory in Text To Columns, which may automatically split the data to several columns.

Thanks for your reply SixthSense! How do I check whether there is any delimeter in the memory of the Text to Columns? Also, the distribution does not occur in adjacent cells (ie: horizontally) but rather vertically! Texts which are located in only one cell in the SQL Query result is spanned on, say, 3 cells in 3 consecutive rows. To be clearer, say, if the address of a person is "100A Royal Road Rose Hill, 3456D Boston USA" (which occupies only one cell in the SQL Query result) will look something like this when pasted in Excel 2013:

100A Royal Road
Rose Hill
3456D Boston
USA
