How do I create a formula that would show me if a number is used more than once in a column? I am not trying to create unique numbers I want any duplication of numbers to stand out.

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
you could try something like this:

Code:
=COUNTIF(H1:H14,H1)

that will look for what ever the value is in H1 in the range of H1:h14 and tell you how many time it occurs. If that count is greater than 1 you then would know there is a duplicate.

Is that what you are looking for?

You would update the H1 and H1:H14 references to fit your needs and range.
