Preferred answer replies

Hello:

I have been a member for only a short time but have learned more here than anywhere else.

Just a quick question...I have replied back to questions on the board for some easy items and would like to know the preferred format by the moderators ...If a question can be answered by simply refering to an ealier posted thread that gives the full answer or should the answer be posted to give a complete reply? It seems that recopying the thread eats up memory somewhere.

There are no specific 'rules' for answering. Just use common sense... if you can just link the OP to another post, then do that, if not, then explain the solution...
