Hi all,

I'm trying to run a crosstab query that will form the basis of a report. There are certain column headings that I want to appear, and always appear, even if there's no values in the table that is being queried.

In my particular case, I'm wanting each Australian state to permanently be a column heading (8 headings), and there will also, from time to time, be records with the 'state' field left blank.

Is it possible to set permanent column headings? If so, a step-by-step on how to do so would be much appreciated!

Select data in PDF. Paste to Microsoft Word. Copy from Word and paste to Excel.
Sure, this is possible! In the query design, open the Properties of the query, and look for the Column Headings area. Type in your list of states with a semi-colon separating them. That should get you where you need to be.
