Hi team,
as best that I can see this seems to be some sort of a glitch in pq.
Say, I have this file with 10 sheets, few have tables over 60k rows long.
I just grab one table, config table - 50 rows long to use in another sheet. This table has all codes related to product names, to be expanded with some other dimensions.
Now, when I refresh i can see that pq is grabbing all sheets and all data, as it is listing them in the corner of the little refresh/name box.
Instead of loading 1 table from 1 sheet, it loads all data, I can see as it is slowly grabbing data from 60k row sheets.
Is this a glitch? I cannot seem to recreate this behaviour at home. Do in need to explicitly state to grab a table?
"Source=ExcelWorkbook([name]=Sheet1(ContentData])" - just rough guide, I cannot remember exact code.
Should I reinstall MS office or some such?
As I am building new complex file, this is seriously slowing me down.
Thanks in advance
Nick
