Hello friends! Hope all is safe & Healthy,

I have an error when using PowerQuery to combine CSVs. A certain Column has letters and numbers. How do I not let the errors appear; i.e. how do I let the format changing to display the letters and numbers in the column cells? The image should explain.

Thank you so much in advance!

Excel Facts

Square and cube roots
The =SQRT(25) is a square root. For a cube root, use =125^(1/3). For a fourth root, use =625^(1/4).
I can see in the column heading the column is formatted as date. There must be a step somewhere that turns the format from “any” to “date“. Change that step to format the column as text

Matt's key point was that somewhere in the list of transformations in your PowerQuery the format of that column is changed to Date, that is what caused the problem. Simply changing the format back to text won't clear the problem. You need to look back up the list of steps until you see where the change occurred.
