Hi

Bit of a weird question. My boss has designed some reporting dashboards which he outputs to a monitor.

He has a powerpoint slideshow set to constantly loop, within powerpoint he has added the data links to excel reports.
The excel reports are set to auto refresh after 2 minutes and happily they do.

So, he has 4 excel spreadsheets which contain MS queries, the powerpoint is linked up to the spreadsheets so outputs a count of the results on screen.

He leaves the powerpoint slideshow constantly running but has a close tasks shceduled tasks to kill the excel files at the end of each day. He has a scheduled task that runs every morning to open the excel files up again.

The problem is that when the excel files open up the appear on screen maximised and in front of the Powerpoint slideshow.

Previously, the would open up minimised/ in the background and not obscure the Powerpoint slideshow

Any ideas how to change it back to this ? I can try to screenshot or provide more detail as required

I thought it could be to do with autorcover but it doesn't seem to be
