Powerpoint: Editing Excel tables

I am editing an excel table in Powerpoint and when i try and resize it the last 2-3 columns always seem to get cut off no matter what.

If i use another computer with the same versions of office and powerpoint it works fine?

I am using WIN XP with office 2000 with service pack 3 on both computers but it does not seem to work on one of the computers.

any advice would be great.
