Version 2012 PowerPivot RC0 64 Bit using office 2010 on a Windows 7 HP laptop.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>
Connecting to MS SQL Server file – Selecting 7 dimensions and 4 measures filtered on date<o></o>
After saving, the data is brought into the PowerPivot table. The measures are defined as numeric in the SQL file. They are displayed as currency in the PowerPivot table. If I do not make any changes to the powerpivot table such as changing the measures to decimal values, the refresh option works returning 37,216 records in just seconds. As soon as I change the Measure attribute to decimal using the format tool in the PowerPivot ribbon I can no longer refresh the PowerPivot table. The Data Refresh process just sits and spins until I cancel the job. If I try to change the attribute back to currency, the PivotTable locks up.<o></o>
