Date Table
Cell Formulas
RangeFormula
D2:D14D2=TEXT([@Month1],"MMM YY")

I can view column C as "Jan-22", "Feb-22", "Mar-22", etc...
But when I pull it over into a power pivot, it comes across as dates. I want to view it how I can see it in the data....not dates but textual month/year as it is.

Anyone know how to accomplish this? Even a work around will do....

Thank you!

Excel Facts

Add Bullets to Range
Select range. Press Ctrl+1. On Number tab, choose Custom. Type Alt+7 then space then @ sign (using 7 on numeric keypad)
Formatting does not change your data to textual. The cells are still dates (check in the formula bar to see). So what does it matter that they are also dates in Power Pivot? Any such field you use as a label in a PivotTable from the Power Pivot area can also be formatted as mmm-yy
