Powerpivot new calculated fields won't show in the field list

Hi all,

I'm Olivier from Switzerland, new on the forum, I've been massively using Powerpivot for a month now and I love it.

I'm meeting a recurring problem that annoys me a lot, when I create a powerpivot table, then add a new calculated column to my model, I can refresh or update my pivot table as much as I want the new field won't show in the field list. However it appears in the autocompletion when writing a new measure.

I've read the threads that sounded like my problem but none of them helped.

Do you know why this happens?

That would be a great help.

Well, I mean... it happens because it's a bug I typically end up saving my workbook, closing down, and re-opening.

Good to know thanks, and I hadn't thought about closing and re-opening the workbook, it's still better than re-creating the whole pivot!
