Hi all,

Using Excel 2010.

How can I create a Measure to sum if any one of three criteria is met?
I tried:
Selected Error Values:=CALCULATE([Total Error Values],FILTER(dimErrorValue,dimErrorValue[ErrorValueKey]=29||47||78),FILTER(dimCalendar,dimCalendar[ReportMonth]=[SelectedReportMonth]))

But I am not receiving the expected result.

Thanks
w

Excel Facts

Create a chart in one keystroke
Select the data and press Alt+F1 to insert a default chart. You can change the default chart to any chart type
Are you just getting an error?

The most obvious thing I see is that you can't just string the results of an expression together with ||. You must use the entire expression for each value like so:

dimErrorValue[ErrorValueKey]=29 || dimErrorValue[ErrorValueKey]=47 || ......etc.

Thanks Mike,

I ended writing a seperate Measure for each and then sutracting from the total for the column.
Probably not the most efficient, but it works.

Thanks
