Hi There,
I am fairly new to Powerpivot and still trying to get my head around it.
I have a table of invoice sales data which contains every line of our sales invoices. A line (row) contains data pertaining to the actual item sold like qty, price etc.
So there can be multiple rows in the data model which have the same Invoice number because there were multiple items on the invoice.

What I am needing is a Powerpivot to show me the total dollars sold for a period broken down by total invoice value range.
So row 1 of the pivot table might be $0 - $999, row 2 $1,000 - $2,999, row 3 $3,000 - $5,000 etc with the years as the columns.
In year 1 I might see a value of $60,000 on row 1 of the pivot representing $60,000 worth of sales that had an invoice value of $999 or less.

I have 2 tables in the data model - Sales Data, Calendar (my date table)

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Excel Facts

VLOOKUP to Left?
Use =VLOOKUP(A2,CHOOSE({1,2},$Z$1:$Z$99,$Y$1:$Y$99),2,False) to lookup Y values to left of Z values.
