Does anyone else using PowerPivot in Excel 2013 have issues saving the password for connection strings using SQL / SQL Azure? If I close and reopen the workbook, I am prompted to re-enter the password if I need to refresh the data. The problem is described here: Powerpivot data connection will not save the password
It is a very frustrating problem to say the least since I am not able to automate my application on Sharepoint. Please drop a reply if you are using PowerPivot 2013 and connecting to a SQL / SQL azure database and do not have this problem. I would at least be able to take measures on my system to correct this problem if I know it is not a global issue.
