I have a GIS application that has a very limited reporting engine. One thing that it can do is download a customized data extract into Excel.
On a one-off basis, I can take the Excel file from the GIS to create all of the custom reports and filtering that I need. However, I need to be able to rerun the GIS report from time to time to get the latest updates. Then, take the new report and refresh my custom reports in Excel.
Can I use PowerPivot 2010 to manage the refresh of my custom Excel reports from the GIS Excel file?
Any suggestions on how to best set it up?
Thanks.
Brian.
