Powerpivot datafeed connection problem

I am getting the following error message when I try to use the data feed: “Cannot connect to the specified feed. Verify the connection and try again. Reason: The remote server returned an error: (401) Unauthorized..”

This is just a straight up security issue. You need the proper username/password/whatever.

I am using http://servername:1080/reporting/example.svc feed as a data source which was working 2 weeks ago.Nothing would be changed. Where can I start troubleshooting this issue. I have
Sharepoint central administration and IIS configuration manager on my server. We are using lightswitch app too.
