PowerPivot Auto-Rounding to 4 Decimals, but I Need 6!

I'm relatively new to PowerPivot and have googled answers to my plethora of questions, but I can't find an answer to this one and am hoping this post will help.

I work for a telecom company and one of our key metrics is RPM (Revenue per Minute), which is generally less than a penny. For one customer in May 2011, they sent us 3,791,379 minutes of traffic and we charged them $9,786.81. RPM therefore should be $0.0025813. However, in powerpivot window (and pivot table calcs/measures), the value is $0.0026000. Powerpivot is rounding this calc to 4 decimals and I need at least 6 for more accurate growth rates. Is there any way to increase accuracy in these calcs?

Thanks in advance,
SP

Excel Facts

Create a Pivot Table on a Map
If your data has zip codes, postal codes, or city names, select the data and use Insert, 3D Map. (Found to right of chart icons).
What's the source data? It sounds as though the field type may be currency, which would round to 4DP.

Rory, I didn't realize you replied earlier and just figured this out on my own and was going to post my findings. The field type was indeed currency and I didn't realize it had a cap of four decimals. Changing source data to decimals (non-currency) fixed issue even though the measure is currency. I guess I'll just have to fix that on presentation layer.

Thanks for responding!
