Hello All,

I am wondering if there is a way to update all PowerPivot Field lists when the model is updated (new calculated column, etc.). I would have hoped the Data > Refresh All might work, but this only updates the data. Every single PowerPivot Field list must be refreshed individually, which is annoying.

I'm using Excel 2010 PowerPivot V2. Windows 7 64bit, Excel 32bit.

Thanks,
Josh

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
Hmmmm.... that sounds like something that should have annoyed me pretty bad if it was generally true, but it doesn't sound familiar. Every once in awhile I get a situation where I update the model and it doesn't get properly reflected in reports, but that is certainly the exception, not the rule.

You might try disabling the addin, and re-enabling?

Are you using the Refresh All button in the Power Pivot window or the one in the Excel window?

Both. I've actually recently re-installed PowerPivot due to other issues and am still facing it. Is there a way to do a clean re-install where I have to manually delete certain folders to ensure I am not using anything corrupt?

I'm not sure about the clean re-install part, but I personally didn't have the problem that you are facing when I was using Excel 2010. The only time that I had to update tables individually was if I was sourcing them from Linked Excel Tables, but not from any ones that I connected to using Get External Data.
