Hi,

I have a Matrix Visual within a report which I'd like it add a column to the end of the visual to compare the previous two weeks and determine if there was an increase or decrease.

My Matrix is made from the following columns from the data table:

Rows = Department
Columns = Week of Year
Values = Count of Department
Table = Results

My Columns are week numbers for week of year, I want to compare the current week vs the previous week in the matrix and have this shown as an increase/decrease/no change arrow in it's own column. Is this possible to do?

Excel Facts

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
Try something like this, assuming your current week is in D7 and the previous week is in D6:

=IF(D7<D6,"ê",IF(D7>D6,"é","çè"))

This cell must be formatted to the 'wingdings' font.

Yes, it is possible. I use separate measures for current value, previous value and change, and then you can apply icon formatting to the change column, such as up/down arrows.
