Power Query Settings - Faster Refresh/Load after Swapping Computers

I use Remote Desktop to a beefier machine than what the laptop I have with me in person is able to perform. There was some connectivity issues specific to the hardware that was being remoted into. But other than that, it was beautiful. All of my Power Query Excel files had been written to offload columns and rows as much as possible, and were refreshing in record speed.

Then the [previously mentioned] connectivity issues began and they swapped out the Remote Desktop to a new machine. Brand new. Supposed to be the exact same in build as the one it replaced. Same Office version, and made sure it was also updated to its most recent.

My queries are taking 3 to 4 times longer to complete their refresh (I can tell because of the helpful bit of code from this post.

Am I missing a setting that needs to be changed when moving to a new machine? The same files work in their quicker fashion on my co-workers machine...so I'm confused and my IT folks aren't sure what else to do either.

TIA
