Power Query Security

I have a power query which connects via ODBC/SQL string to an AS400 table and provides data for a scorecard to be refreshed daily. I would like to give the scorecard user the ability to refresh the query as needed, but not let them have the ability to change the SQL source string.

I've been searching around and can't figure out if I can do this with Power Query or not. All I can find is information about the privacy levels. Maybe I'm not understanding how those work, but it doesn't seem to me that the privacy levels will help this situation.

Hi,
quite some silence here - I also hoped that someone would come up with an answer - this sounds like a very sensible request.

All I can think of is the workaround to restrict the user access at the source already: Maybe use a view that only contains the fields that you are willing to share.
So if the users change the SQL-source string, they simply get error-messages back.
