I have a power query connection only table with dates showing like 6/29/2018 and its data type is Date, which is exactly how I want it. However, when I create a pivot table off this the date above shows like this 29-June. I tried to apply the Date format in Excel to revert it but it does not change, it stays the same. Can someone help? Thanks.

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.
