Hello,

I have recently been working with Power Queries and I'm wondering, can you pull data from workbooks that are in multiple different file folders? I've run queries pulling data from multiple documents in one folder, using Get Data, From Folder, but I'm uncertain how to proceed otherwise.

Thank you.

If your data has zip codes, postal codes, or city names, select the data and use Insert, 3D Map. (Found to right of chart icons).

I suspect you would have to setup several folder queries and then merge them together. Or set one up as a function then another that loops through say a table of folder paths and then calls the function for each one.

Started playing around with it a bit more and I found how to upload another file folders contents. However, the Merge option is not allowing me to click OK to do the merge. My assumption is that since the headers between the two documents to not 100% match, even though the data is the same type for each column, it will not allow me to merge this two folder, correct? Notice the difference between the Date and Work columns below:

It appears that is not the fix. I'm not sure why the OK box is still grayed out and won't allow me to merge these two queries.

I'm going to stop here and create a new thread as this has change from the original title. Thank you both for you help!
