Power Query - Not Retaining Date Type (Format) Upon Loading

Hey all,

I recently upgraded to Office 365 and my reporting has become tediously problematic with date formatting (which feeds various charts) not being retained once the refresh is done. In the Power Query editor the columns are set to "Date" but when they load to the data model they do not load as dates but rather as the date serial numbers. In the Power Pivot models they are also set as "Date". Has anyone else had this issue?

in PQ Editor set data type as date

That is done. That's my point. That is date and Power Pivot is set as date as well. But when the table loads to the Excel spreadsheet it converts to date serial number on every refresh and I have to manually change it to date again. I did not have this issue with any of my reports until I upgraded to 365.

Hard to say something if I don't have "live" example.
Create example workbook with source, query and result (which contain this "error") then post a link to the shared file via googledrive, onedrive or any similar
