Hi,
I've noticed that very often hashes and quotaiton marks are included in the names of some columns but not others,
I know if a column has spaces the conventin is #" part1 part2 " , but sometimes using add custom column and clicking a single word name it's stil proceeded by a hash, also I recently had this where [start date] and [end date] recieved different formatting vial add custom column;

its not a problem if selecting thing but when typing in the formula bar it's often several tries trying to find what it wants.
just wondered if anyone had any thoughts or ideas, suggestions?

Richard

Excel Facts

Spell Check in Excel
Press F7 to start spell check in Excel. Be careful, by default, Excel does not check Capitalized Werds (whoops)
did you try to remove the end space of your end date column ? I'm guessing the hash is gone when you do.

I have done now, and just ended up with ; {[#"Start Date"]} and it also then returned an error, it's interesting that when i select the end date that does go in as expected;
just [End Date] , I have tried jus typing it in , which is fine as far as syntax but again returns an error for the actual result.

Richard.
