Hi All,

I hope this is a simple fix that. I am importing multiple excel .xlsx files from a folder as i have done in many times in the past but came across an error i can not resolve. After selecting my folder that I want power query to import i go into the edit option to extract the excel data in the file. Typical i would remove all but the content column then add a custom column. The formula i am using is =Excel.Workbook([Content]). After creating the column it shows there is an errors in each row.

Expression.Error: We cannot apply field access to the type Function
Details:
Value=Function
Key=Content

Does anyone know how to fix this error? Or a better way to extract the excel data?

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
