Hello,

I am fairly new to Power Query and have searched but can't find a solution - every thing I find is related to listing files, not folders.

Is it possible for power query to action the below output when I select a external hard drive.

Master Folder NameFile NameFile TypeFile Size
Sub Folder NameFile NameFile TypeFile Size

Excel Facts

Add Bullets to Range
Select range. Press Ctrl+1. On Number tab, choose Custom. Type Alt+7 then space then @ sign (using 7 on numeric keypad)
Sure. Your Data Source will be Folder.
So a simple query for the above info could look like this. (You'll have to adjust the folder path for your needs)

Power Query:
let
    Source = Folder.Files("C:\My Folder"),
    #"Expanded Attributes" = Table.ExpandRecordColumn(Source, "Attributes", {"Size"}, {"Size"}),
    #"Removed Other Columns" = Table.SelectColumns(#"Expanded Attributes",{"Folder Path", "Name", "Extension", "Size"}),
    #"Changed Type" = Table.TransformColumnTypes(#"Removed Other Columns",{{"Folder Path", type text}, {"Name", type text}, {"Extension", type text}, {"Size", Int64.Type}})
in
    #"Changed Type"
