Hi Friends,

I converted PDF file to excel using power query. The table in the PDF looks good. But when loaded into excel through power query, it added columns and some value were not aligned to the column header.

Is there way to overcome the misalignment issue?

Thanks

Did you load the pdf directly to Excel or did you transform it the Power Query Editor?

I transformed to Excel.
If I load directly to Excel, it will give me list of tables and pages.
I need to expand to the selected page or table.
Is there a different way to open a selected PDF page/table?

Thanks a lot!!

I see what you mean now..
If I tried to "load" instead of running "transformation", I will not get the table with those extra random columns.

Now, I need to pick 2 tables from 2 pages, to select 2 pages and load, this will create 2 queries instead. As I tried to append the queries, it append the 2nd table to the right of the 1st table.

I need to do a bit more research on how to append the table to the bottom of the 1st table.

it append the 2nd table to the right of the 1st table.

This happens when the column (field) names are not the same. Make sure that the column names are the same in both tables.
