Good day.

I have an Excel Power Query question. We have different files, one for each buyer. All file formats are the same, but each is encrypted (password needed to open the file). Power Query can not access the files in the source folder, says the data is corrupted.

Is there a way around this if we have the passwords for each file? We don't want the different buyers to access other buyer files, but we are centrally managing these files thus we are using power query to pull in the data for the different buyers.

Thank you in advance.

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
As far as I know, you have to remove the password for PQ to be able to read the files.
