Hi

So I would like know if this is possible or if there was another way to do this.

I have a very large data source (750,000+ records) in an excel file.

I would like to create subsets of this data based on which team it is allocated to. This is the easy part for me. So I have Team 1, Team 2, Team 3 etc all the way to Team 40.

The hard part is this: Each team will access their list and enter data, e.g. data and time of activity and the outcome.
Q1. if the subset is refreshed, will the manually entered data be lost or muddled?
Q2. I'd like the manually entered data to be written to the Source Data, so I can see an organisational progress on their allocated work, is this possible?
OR
Q3. is there a way to create ANOTHER dataset (from the 40 teams lists) of the records they have inputted data into, ie merging the data. Would this backfire?

Thanks in advance

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.
