Hi All,

I’m stuck on what I think is a simple question. In Power query I am reading the contents of a folder and all of the sub folders. I'm now trying to return the number of “\” in the Folder Path to give me a ‘Level’.
What I can’t work out is how to count the “\” in paths. Any ideas?

Waterfall charts in Excel?
Office 365 customers have access to Waterfall charts since late 2016. They were added to Excel 2019.
Hi,

Perhaps this works as a custom column formula:
Code:
=List.Count(List.Select(Text.ToList([Folder Path]), each _ = "\"))

That's exactly what I was after, very much appreciated. Thanks
