What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
Hi, you can add a step with the sort order in PQ. It will force the table in Excel to be the same.
Wild guess here. The preview (always a snapshot) in PQ may have sorted logically in memory, but may spill in source order?
I've seen in queries that the sorting of data is not kept in later steps of the Query. Buffering a table then helps to prevent that.

I have tried by adding an extra step of sort but no luck, not sure why this happening.
