Hi,
I've had a problem where I'd loaded a table into power query, added to the data model and opened in power pivot but
when I tried for example to calculate a total so SUMX(Table1, Table[Units] ) , I got an error,
If I loaded the same Source excel table into power pivot directly, I could do the operation, I haven't been able to replicate the problem,
does anyone have any suggestions as to causes?

Richard.

Excel Facts

Can a formula spear through sheets?
Use =SUM(January:December!E7) to sum E7 on all of the sheets from January through December
Verify the Data Type in PowerQuery. Remove any errors.
