Hi we have Office 2013 installed

I understand Power Pivots and Power View are not available in this version, is there somewhere where I can download these from, or some other work around so I can start using these?

Also, if we were to start using these and supplying dashboards/workbooks created using Power Pivot/View/Charts to clients and they only had standard versions of Excel would they still be able to run the dashboards

Thanks

Andy

You should have Power Pivots and Power View with Office 2013. I remember you have to do something with Microsoft Silverlight for it to work properly. I tried to use these features but it caused too many issues for people without Silverlight set up correctly and it's slow and clunky. Hope this helped a little.

You need a ProPlus SKU of Office 2013 for those. The only other way to get Power Pivot is by purchasing a standalone version of Excel.

All users shouldn't need the Power Pivot add-in to use the workbook, though they won't be able to alter the data model. I'm not sure about Power View but would suspect they'd have to have it installed.
