im using Power Pivot. is i build a pivot table and click thru to a value, it generates a sheet with the details of what I clicked. BUT it also adds this table (sheet) to the data model. Is there a way to 'turn-off' this feature?

also, is you drag a field (implicit measure) onto your pivot table... it will automatically add it to you data model as 'explicit measure'. How can i turn that off as well

thank you!

Excel Facts

When they said...
When they said you are going to "Excel at life", they meant you "will be doing Excel your whole life".
Did you check if that table is effectively loaded in the datamodel? That sheet is not added to the datamodel according to me. It only shows up as a 'table' in the pivot sections.
