Hi all,

Still figuring things out with Power Pivot and I'm having trouble removing some unwanted text from a column.

I have column that is pulling into Power Pivot with the following format: =T(""30-MAR-2013"")

I need to remove everything within to get this: 30-MAR-2013

I think =Substitute is probably the DAX formula I need to use but am having trouble with the syntax.

This is a serious stumbling block for me and I haven't been able to find a solution to my particular problem in searching the forum. Anyone that can help, I would be very grateful.

Thank you,

Evan

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
You might look to use Power Query to do this step, easy to transform and remove stuff like this.
