Weird one. I have a pivot table built using power pivot. Here's the weird part. One variable doesn't display on the pivot table. It's just a blank cell. I thought maybe it was absent in the dataset or the data in the data model, but it's in both. If I do an XLookup or an Filter, the data not in the pivot table is immediately there. I have refreshed the data model and the pivot table, but I still keep getting the same thing. Any ideas anyone?

Not something I can really post using xl2bb.

Any help would be appreciated.

UPDATE: I did a search for the variable in the data model table. The find feature did not find it, but I can filter the column to have only that variable there...so it's definitely there. What the heck?

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
Where in the pivot table is the blank cell?

You could copy a sample data from your datamodel. E.g. the filter you mention. Paste it in excel, then use XL2BB. You can do that for all tables involved in your pivot.
Show us your pivot doing the same.
At least it will hint us towards the correct questions to ask.

Something went wrong with the app. Dismiss this one since it can't delete it.
