Hi,
I have a Matrix in PBi, dates , sales, and a slicer, 'item', if I use a date table, I get wrong results once the slicer is applied, even if I use
the dates from the fact table if a date /calendar table is linked I get wrong results, but if I disconnect the tables, and create a running total based on the dates in the fact table I can then use the slicer and get the correct results. The screen shots below show the results with the connected and disconnected Calendar / date table. Can someone suggest a solution or why the problem occurs. I do think it's something I'm doing/not doing right.

Excel Facts

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.
I have found the problem, the calendar fact table relationship was defaulting to one to one, bi directional, as soon as I changed this to a one to many ( it was actually one to one) in one direction, date to fact , everything started working. #
