Hi All

Newly returned to Power BI, having scrapped its surface a long while ago, so very green in this area. I am using the desktop version that you can access through the 365 subscription.

I think this is the structure I have created. I have a semantic model that collects data from a network located excel file. This data is then used to create a report. everything works fine except when someone updates the excel file, I have to manually refresh the data and republish the report. and I can't find any way of setting auto, or timed refresh.

My knowledge is limited but growing and not sure if its related to the version I am using, but any help anyone can give would be very much appreciated.

Many thanks in advance.

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
Your Excel file should be saved to somewhere in the cloud (i.e. SharePoint Folder). If you must keep it in the network located Excel file, you would have to install an On-premises data gateway (which I am sure would be hard to get if you are doing this for work).
