I know that postings that are in bold text are postings that are not read & if they are normal text they have been read.
I however seem to have a problem some of the postings are in normal text (as if I have read them), but I know this is not the case. It seems if I stray from the first couple of pages, they are all marked as read. Can anybody please shed some light on why this is the case, as it is very frustrating not knowing if you have read a posting or not.
This problem has only occurred since the new board format was implemented
Thanks in advance

I believe those change simply because you have visited the site. Usually the bold posts are those that have new posts since your last visit.

Thanks Von pookie
I thought it was some settings somwhere

For the last couple of hours I've had the opposite - all thread titles bold, viewed or not

I find that sometimes this formatting is a little erratic.

I've seen what VoGII describes as well as various other weirdness.

But there are plenty of board tools to find what your looking for.:)
