I'm not sure where to find or post my question.

I want to be able to change a cell color by clicking on it. I have a grid of monthly tasks, when a task
is complete I want to change the cell color.

Hello Jonathan, welcome to MrExcel

I believe you'll need VBA to do that in Excel (I assume you want to use Excel). We don't have a specific VBA forum - if you can't find anything by searching try starting a new thread in Excel Questions here
