Posting a link to another thread....

Can someone tell me how I can post a link in my message to another thread when trying to point someone to an existing answer.

Not sure if I read this right but:

Open up a new browsing session in your internet browser. locate the post you want to link.. highlight and copy the address and paste into your post.

Sorry if I read you request wrong but this is my interpritation of what you said

Thanks for the quick reply. I will try your suggestion. I am trying to post a link in a reply on this board to another post on this board. So when answering a post I can put a link to a previous post that helps answer the question.

Apart from pasting the address in your reply, you will need to either:
a) select the address after pasting and click the 'URL' button, or
b) put url contained in square brackets before the address and /url in square brackets after the address.

See that little box to the left of the posted date? Click on that to generate an url for a specific post within a thread, then copy and paste that into your post. E.g.,
